Notes: Back to the fandom of Twilight - of course with secondary characters * smile to sixty-four teeth * The inspiration came while reading the power of Victoria, self-preservation, I wondered what human skill could lead to this, and I told myself that was probably the fear of living - from there spread everything. The three paragraphs refer to human life, process and life as a vampire with James - I said that Victoria also loved James for being opposed to his way of life risking their lives every day when she he was not able to, and did not want to do it. She eventually is not a winner: it's only one that participates in the game when it is safe to be able to win.
thanks enoooooooooooooorme to Kukiness , that always helps me with loving patience. Honey, I do not know that I'd do without you \u0026lt;3
Disclaimer: Victoria, as well as all vampires sbrilluccicosi and company all belong to Meyer (umpf, as if you did not know).
Victoria had been a life in the shadows, his. She herself was frightened shadow, hidden in the dirty corners of banality.
had not risked, and lost.
Her body was dragged through the folds of monotony [was so intoxicating, to be sure] and was sunk deeper and deeper, in a muddy puddle of putrid life. She liked to drown [was so reassuring, not to live].
had not risked, and had not won.
that tore the flesh under savage teeth had remembered what it meant to try something [and did not like, not like] . Those eyes of embers had forcibly snatched from the mud [had felt the skin stretch and break, his body falling apart]. He had tried once
[had haunted and cursed, with his eyes demon] but it was so empty of life that the pain was not that a vague burning.
He risked, and had not won.
Even his non-life had been in the shadows. He had lived the thrill of the hunt [brutal and savage murder] he had tasted [the pleasure that ran red in her throat] and he had loved and worshiped from afar with the devotion of un'adepta [the ardor of a bestial life did not belong].
He risked, and lost. But even the victory was hers.
